Lest We Forget...

On Wednesday, 7th November all children took part in a 'Remembrance Rocks' project, to help them create a memorial for the 100th anniversary of WWI. During the day they completed various Remembrance crafts and created a path of decorated Remembrance Pebbles. They laid them at the village cenotaph and remembered those who fought and died in the war.

We are delighted to have been placed 29th in England for 2017 results, in results published by the Department for Education in December 2017. This is a fantastic achievement for the pupils and staff of Gisburn Primary School, as previously we were placed 83rd in the November 2015 list of top 200 State Primary Schools, in the Sunday Times.
